In the city center every stone breathes history. House No. 102 on Nevsky prospect, where our hotel is located, is no exception. In 1877, the Russian architect I. I. Bulanov, the building was built for the hereditary honourable citizen V. F. Zmeeva. It is noteworthy that in the early 20th century this building housed the editorial office of the satirical magazine "Infernal mail". For fees came Maxim Gorky, Valery Bryusov, Vyacheslav Ivanov. At the same time, it also housed the editorial Board of the Bolshevik magazine "Herald of life", who collaborated with V. I. Lenin and A. V. Lunacharskii. In the years of the NEP in the 20-ies of XX century, this house was opened private "Little theatre"
